The BASE is the device for collecting data from transmitters and automatically transfers to a PC or IT network. Sends alarms to mobile phone or email.

Receives data and forwards to network, or single PC database
64 channels
Internal memory stores data if PC or IT network is temporarily unavailable
Alarms can be sent direct by SMS via the optional modem module
Communication to/from SCOUT and SCOUTPLUS units (and legacy IceSpy sensors) by low-power radio link
Data transferred to external devices (e.g. PCs) by optional plug-in communication modules:
- Network / ethernet module - allows Bases to utilise network in a multi-base system
- USB / RS232 (serial) module - allows Base to be connected directly to PC.
- Modem module - allows Base to send alarms to a phone
- 4-20mA and zero-voltage switch module for external alarms and control systems
Backup battery supply for continuous operation during power failure
Meets EU BS EN 12830 directive for measurement of stored and frozen foods.
Meets EC Directives for electronic and low power radio equipment.
