The network / ethernet is one of the slot-in optional communication cards for the System5 BASE and BASEPlus. The network card allows the one or more BASE and BASEPlus units to be connected to the company network / ethernet, thus allowing any PC's on the network to be the IceSpy Server. All PC's can view data stored in the Base using WebView. All PC's on the network can also be used as IceSpy Clients to view the data stored on the IceSpy Server.

The System5 network card utilises the standard ethernet TCPIP protocol. The amount of data sent is 32kb of data per sensor per 24hr.

There are two communication card slots available in the BASE and the Network card can be combined with any of the others.

The other options include Modem, BMS logic / analogue output, and USB/Serial.
